Why it matters
Praia D'El Rey opened in 1997 — a Cabell Robinson design that mixes parkland and pine-belt holes with a stretch of true links along the Atlantic. It was the Silver Coast's first marquee course and remains the anchor of the resort. Less dramatic than West Cliffs next door, but more varied as a round; the two together make a genuine reason to drive an hour north of Lisbon.

Cart standard. 60 minutes from Lisbon (LIS). The resort offers stay-and-play packages with West Cliffs. Pair both together as a Silver Coast 36-hole day.
