Why it matters

Las Vegas Paiute's Wolf Course is Pete Dye's longest desert design (1995), built on Paiute Tribal land 25 minutes north of the Strip near Snow Mountain. The Sun Mountain and Snow Mountain courses (also Dye) round out the trio — all walking-friendly by Las Vegas standards. The Wolf is the conditioning standout and the round /r/golf points to as the best public play in the area.

How to play it

Cart standard but walking-friendly. 25 minutes north of the Strip. Pair with Bali Hai (South Strip) and Reflection Bay (Lake Las Vegas) for a three-course public week.
