Why it matters
Bali Hai sits on the South Strip next to Mandalay Bay — the only golf course inside the city of Las Vegas. The 2000 Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley design plays through palms, lagoons, and 4,000 tropical plants in a faux-Polynesian aesthetic that should be terrible and somehow works. Not the best round in Vegas but unambiguously the most convenient — you can walk from the casino to the first tee.
How to play it
Cart standard. On-Strip stays make it a no-rental-car round. Pair with Paiute Wolf for a Vegas two-course day. Best Oct-April; mid-summer is brutal.
