Why it matters

Olde Scotland Links is the only links-style golf course south of Boston, built on open farmland with mounds, pot bunkers and no trees to stop the wind. Owned by the town of Bridgewater. The aesthetic is honestly closer to a Scottish links than anything else in eastern Mass, and the rate is municipal.

How to play it

Walkable easily. The wind is the entire defense — pick a day with a forecast you're happy to play in. Pair with George Wright or Pinehills for a Boston-area muni day.
