Why it matters

Grayhawk's Talon Course (1994) is the more strategic of the Grayhawk pair, designed by David Graham and Gary Panks. The course has hosted the NCAA Division I Men's Championship multiple times since 2021 and is among the more conditioned public desert courses in the country. The companion Raptor course (Tom Fazio) is the more visual sibling.

How to play it

Cart standard. 30 minutes from PHX, 10 from north Scottsdale. Pair with Raptor next door for a 36-hole day, or with Troon North for a north-Scottsdale two-course day.
