Why it matters

SentryWorld opened in 1982 as Wisconsin's first destination resort course — a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design in Stevens Point. Jay Blasi led a full restoration in 2014 that re-imagined the routing while keeping the celebrated 16th hole — the Flower Hole, a par-3 over 30,000 hand-planted flowers in summer — intact. It hosted the US Senior Open in 2023 and is a natural pairing with Sand Valley one hour west.

How to play it

Cart standard. Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA) is 20 minutes. Pair with Sand Valley + Mammoth Dunes for a four-day central Wisconsin trip.
