Why it matters
The Links shares an entrance and a practice range with the Championship course and is the obvious paired second round of a Sand Hollow day. Locals price it as the better value and most consider it the more honest test — narrower, exposed to the wind off the reservoir, and walkable in a way the cliffs are not.
How to play it
Reserve the Links for the afternoon of a 36-hole day; the wind that makes the Championship's cliff holes intimidating turns the Links into a real ground-game challenge. Comfortable to walk in the cooler months. No carts mandated.
