Why it matters

Pinehills is the largest public golf facility within an hour of Boston, with two distinct 18-hole layouts (Jones and Nicklaus) on a wooded property in Plymouth. The Jones course is generally considered the bigger test — wider strategic options off the tee, faster greens. It's the realistic anchor for a Boston-area weekend.

How to play it

Bookable through the resort. Cart standard given the routing distances between holes. Pair with the Nicklaus course the next morning for a 36-hole weekend.
